Toki Medium Etched - Pounamu - Greenstone

This beautiful Toki pendant is hand carved in Aotearoa, New Zealand and is etched with a subtle woven flax pattern which is lovely to touch and gives this piece a special dimension.

The Toki design originates from the axe head which Maori used to chip, carve and hollow out wood & sometimes used as a weapon. The Toki represents strength, determination and courage in times of adversity. 

New Zealand Greenstone sourced from the West Coast of the South Island.

Each piece is unique and individual, no two pieces are the same. The pictures show both front and back of this Taonga.

Measurements -  6cm x 2.5cm.
