This beautiful Pounamu taonga pendant is hand carved in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
A Tiki is a carving of a human figure made from wood, stone, or other material. In Māori mythology, Tiki was the first man created by Tāne, the God of the Forest. Tiki are considered taonga (treasure) by Māori and are often passed down through generations.
New Zealand Greenstone sourced from the West Coast of the South Island.
